Steady in Alignment

Now it is much easier and faster for me to get back into alignment or feeling better before it gets worse, typically less than 16 seconds.

This is because once you have a thought and/or feeling for more than 17 seconds, the momentum will start and you’ll get similar thought like it.

I learned about this when I discovered Abraham Hicks in 2013. You can find plenty free Abraham Hicks videos on Youtube.

I’m really into self-development. I was one of those motivational junkies. The first 15 years after I graduated from university in 1998, I struggled to create my dream life. I subscribed to “no pain, no gain” and “you must work hard to get what you want” type of success philosophy. I was MISERABLE.

The only thing that kept me alive was my rescued dogs. Every time the voice in my head said, “What’s the point of living when there’s so much pain and no matter how hard I tried, I failed!”, I looked at my dogs. Who’s going to take care of them?

Turning Point

In 2013 after I was locked up and had to be in hiding, separated from my dogs for a few weeks, I was inspired to find out why I kept struggling and how to stop it.

During this search that I found Abraham, channelled by Esther Hicks.

Since I followed their teachings, I experienced many magical events like unexpectedly getting a job that was 3 times my salary.

HOWEVER, the challenge was to be consistent as I was used to “make things happen” (a motto of the company I worked for 9 years) instead of LET THINGS HAPPEN.
